Description of Stations
In this model, the content, time, and students are divided into three separate groups. The students rotate through each of the station during a class period. Two of the three groups are either teacher-led and or teacher-facilitated and the third group is an independent group. This model should be implemented about 30% of the time. This model helps to intensify instruction because the groups are smaller.
Caution(s): each piece of instruction must take approximately the same amount of time, instructional content CANNOT be sequential, noise can be an issue.
